A Parent Participation Preschool is a non-profit society that is founded and maintained by parents. It provides the opportunity for parents, children, and teachers to contribute to and participate in a creative learning and growth oriented environment.
A parent participates in:
- Ten hours of orientation
- A monthly General Meeting consisting of presentations by professionals in the fields of early childhood, workshops on child development, and brief updates on adminstrative matters. The General Meeting is held on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.
- ‘Duty Days’ assisting the teachers with the daily program. Parents participate in ‘Duty Days’ approximately once every 3-4 weeks.
- Managing a task to help with the operation of the school.
