I received my Early Childhood Education Diploma from Langara College in 2002. I had been teaching a Community Centre-operated preschool program for 15 years in East Vancouver before joining Little People’s in 2018. I have additional certifications as an Infant/Toddler Educator and as a Special Needs Educator. I also hold a B.A. degree in Psychology.
It is a privilege to be a part of the children’s early educational journey. I appreciate the support and the opportunity to build a classroom community that not only fosters young children’s positive sense of self but also encourages the practice of kindness in all that we do. In a fun and light-hearted environment, children can grow, learn, play, discover, create and imagine! Through a play-based approach with a variety of materials and opportunities, children will be encouraged to take ownership of their own learning, at their own pace.
I am fluent in spoken Cantonese. I am a big fan of the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team, and am also an avid aquarist. When not involved in all things preschool, I can be found experimenting with indoor gardening, as well as searching for the best eats around town.
I am thrilled to be a part of Little People’s Community Preschool and look forward to meeting and working with your family!
