Our 3’s Class
Each school day for our 3-year-olds at Little People’s Community Preschool begins with Outdoor Play. This is followed by Snack Time, Free Indoor Play, and Circle Time. Key development themes for this class include fostering acceptance of others and developing peer social competence and self-regulation.
We are very pleased to have 3 fully qualified ECE teachers for our 3′s Class, bringing the adult-child ratio to 1:6, one of the best in the city.
Commitment
Register 4 mornings (9am-11:30am) per week.
Minimum number of days for registration is 4 per week.
1 month’s notice is required if you wish to withdrawal.
Tuition
4 days per week: $465/month
Childcare subsidies are available.
3-Year-Olds at Play
Our 3’s program is designed to use play to develop the skills that 3-year olds are working on:
Learning to separate from their caregivers while developing trusting relationships with teachers;
Learning to use words to express the range of emotions they are feeling;
Learning to recognize the needs and feelings of their peers and to respect them;
Learning to take turns, wait patiently, follow directions, sit quietly when the situation calls for it;
But most importantly, learning that school is an amazing, fun, creative, wonderful place to be!
