Teacher 3’s & 4’s Classes
I was born and raised in Metro Vancouver B.C and have been guiding young children in the Early Learning Environment for the past eleven years. I am a certified ECE and received my Early Childhood Education with “Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute”. I continue to explore professional development in the field of Early Childhood, attending a variety of dynamic workshops locally.
In addition to Early Childhood, I am a registered ‘Music Together’ teacher and have had the delightful honour of guiding families with young children at ‘West Side Music Together’ over a combination of nine years. I have an extensive background/training in the performing arts, with over 25 years experience performing in musical theatre throughout the Lower Mainland. I am a certified 500hr Yoga teacher, with additional certifications in Yoga for Kids, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Outreach. As an Early Childhood Educator it is important to me to be able to provide children with endless opportunities to imagine, create and explore their unique creative expression.
I am so happy to have the opportunity to embark on my sixth year with LPCP and to be a part of our classroom community where kindness and respect is practiced each day. I am grateful to live, work and play on the unceded land of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:l ̱ ō and Səl ̓ ílwətaʔ/ Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xwməθkwəy̓ əm (Musqueam) Nations.
